About Fig Tree Villa
Fig Tree Villa is set in its own secluded, private garden on a quiet gated community not far from Villamartin and an easy 6 minutes by car to our nearest blue flag beach, Playa Flamenca or the shopping complex, Zenia Boulevard.
Well served by two Airports we are 45 minutes drive from either Alicante or Murcia International.
The Villa has been lovingly and carefully restored by us to create a welcoming and family-friendly holiday Villa.
We strive to give our guests a relaxing stress free break and have worked hard to provide up to date amenities, comforting decor and plenty of information.
Situated on a private Urbanisation midway between Viilamartin and Playa Flamenca on the Costa Blanca.
Part of a “quad” design typical of the area the Villa has two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a pool and terrace in a secluded garden. Furnished in a mix of old and new, we have set the villa up for couples or families with little ones.
We would recommend a car but you can certainly get by without. Bars and Restaurants are within walking distance as is a small local supermarket.
If you prefer not to drive we can arrange Airport transfers to get you hassle free to and from the Villa.
The beach at La Zenia is 8 mins by car, Zenia Boulevard 7 mins, Villamartin Plaza 6 mins and you can walk to the Saturday Playa Flamenca market in 8 mins.
We have decided not to charge an additional cleaning fee. The only extra would be if you decide to use the Air-conditioning which is payable via a coin meter.
Linen, towels and terrace lounger towels are all included.
Patio & Pool
The L shaped pool is approximately 24m sq. It has steps in and a gradual gradient to 1.8m depth. Available all year round but not heated it is maintained weekly by a specialist.
Although we have a Dining Room the poolside terrace is the place to be. Table and chairs for four, evening lighting and a BBQ. The loungers have cushions and we provide towels to use with them.
It is a quiet, peaceful place to be, not far from amenities but you can be forgiven for thinking you are the only residents there at times.
Lounge & Kitchen
The Lounge Kitchen’s open layout creates a seamless transition between cooking and relaxation areas, inviting guests to easily socialize while enjoying the culinary delights being prepared !
A comfortable sofa and armchairs with cushions let you relax while ambient lighting makes it a warm area to unwind at the end of the day.
If you chose to self cater on your break The Kitchen has a built-in oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator / freezer and gas cooktop. Plenty of crockery and utensils should give you all you need for preparation.
We have just added an Airfryer and Nespresso Coffee Machine to update the amenities.
Dining Room
The Dining Room provides double doors as the entrance to The Villa and gives dining for four. A functioning wood burning stove is there to take the chill off and give a cosy winter atmosphere if you fancy. It leads onto the Lounge and has stairs to the first floor.
Bedrooms
The first floor Bedroom blends contemporary comfort and French classic furniture and has a terrace that overlooks the garden and pool. A Kitchen station and a full sized Bathroom adjoin the room. The King sized bed with cotton bedding and feather pillows and duvet ensure a comfortable night. Amenities include ample wardrobe space, full length mirror, flat screen tv and Airconditioning and WiFi.
The adjoining kitchen station includes tea and coffee making facilities, a fridge and the house floor safe.
Located on the Ground floor of the villa, the Twin Bedroom is a tranquil room with a window vista onto the Fig Tree, Orange Tree and the private swimming pool, Twin beds, adorned with cotton linens and sumptuous pillows it promises restful nights with the benefit of Airconditioning if needed.
Ample wardrobe space, a full length mirror and the Bathroom just next door this room is ideal for guests with limited mobility.
Bathrooms
The first floor Bathroom provides a free standing bath with shower attachment. A walk in shower, vanity unit with heated mirror and hairdryer.
The Ground floor Bathroom just off the Lounge but next to the Bedroom has a walk-in shower, vanity unit with heated mirror and gives access to the Utility Room.
